Bi polar disorder is such a heart breaking illness. From what I've read that is one of his problems. I treated hundreds of them in my career and in many cases they also used drugs to self medicated thier symptoms. Very sad to see.

I’m sure plenty of people have tried. Sometimes there’s just nothing you can do for someone besides let them know you love them and you’re there for them.
I feel like if it was a past Cat we would all try to help in some kind of way. Maybe they have who knows.

Wow, he looks horrible. A very bad situation for him but I can't feel much for the guy as domestic violence is a nasty thing and no excuse to hurt someone like that. He needs help badly.
Yep, you can try all you can but the person has to be willing to meet you and accept the help. In his case it looks like all has failed to this point.

I've tried to help several but never had success with any; seems like they all have to hit rock bottom to quit. How low rock bottom is varies from person to person. One problem with meth is that sometimes even if the person decides to quit, they might not have the same level of brain function as before.
Have a sibling with it. She lives with a meth head. I've cut her off.
