This home plate ump sucks. Calling shoetop strikes, not giving the just off the corner pitches to deGrom but giving them to Kewshaw. Letting hitters call timeout while the pitcher is in mid windup. Where the hell they find this guy?

I guess deGrom goes out for the 7th, given that Clippards been shaky lately. Maybe go Reed in the 8th.

That answers that. Beauty of a bunt by deGrom, so close to a hit even. Man, if Granderson could beat out a bunt with the shift on to get the run in... I think this is Kershaw's last inning.

That had to be it for deGrom. Too many pitches - he's done his job for the night. If this was the clinching game of the World Series, maybe you leave him in. Time for Clippard and Familia to lock it up.

Good game all around other than Cuddyer's two misplays in left. Our formula worked better than theirs did. One down. See you tomorrow night. Between the Mets and RU games the remote is going to be getting a workout. Probably record the football game also in case I opt to watch the Mets over the 2nd half of the RU game live.

Whatta game and whatta win.....Degrom is just so good and cool......And so happy for Wright.......Cuddyer should only PH and if I'm Collins (who managed a terrific game) - he needs to reassess Clippard and Reed for the 8th inning or have Familia pitch 4-5 outs per game....Hope the Mets stay focused; come out greedy and win game 2......

Great job by the entire team. Beat the best pitcher on the planet. Tomorrow we have to beat the second best.(At least we don't face Arrieta this round:))

We're playing with house money. This season is a lot of fun.

Collins said that DeGrom isn't pitching in game 4. Seems like he's confident Mets will have a 2-1 series lead after 3.
