No joke, we briefly lost power. Haven’t seen lightning like this in a long time.

Torrential rain in Hillsborough

Can't even get out of car to head into gym

Parked in lots and my car was literally swaying during of this with an insane wind gust

I was out on a trail run during this storm yesterday in Morris County. Heavy rains, small streams running down the trail, cracks of thunder overhead. I had the park all to myself. It was an awesome run.

And most of NE Jersey was dry.

Down the shore everything is all right

According to one of the weather apps, there were 2 strikes near the Glimmer Glass bridge, one north and one south. I saw a third driving down Fisk. I'm guessing the radio tower near the Squan/Sea Girt border.

It was a very intense but fast moving storm. In and out within 15-20 minutes.

I used to date a girl from Linden about 74 years ago. Yes there was a lot of lightning there ,even back then.

Glad you made it back.

Thank you. There were some moments I pondered the consequences of several different circumstances and the addition of sounds/tactile stimulation made it a mind blowing trail run. One of my most memorable and has a fighting chance as the best outing of all time.
