There's been a lot of athletes in all sports that were small but still great. Let's see who we can come up with. They must be 5'10" and under. Nothing against gymnist
but since all of them are probably under five ten I prefer they not be listed. Please list height and double check before you list them. Also their sport and something about them.

My 1st little big man is Jim " The Toy Cannon "Wynn . MLB player known for his power . He barely made little big man. He was listed at 5'10". Hit 291 home runs in his 15 year career all with the Astros. OFC

One more for me and I’ll stop and leave the rest for everyone else.
The Atlanta Braves had a shortstop that I really enjoyed watching.
Raphael Furcal 5’ 8”. Switch hitter, 3 time all-star, stole 314 bases and could flat out get the ball to first base in a hurry

Not a problem with listing as many as you want to my friend. Just one at a time for everyone who post. There are many more little big men out there. OFC

One of this former PGA golfer's nicknames is "Mr Fitness."The 83 year old gentleman is only 5ft 6in, but loomed large in the golfing world, and always kept himself remarkably fit: Gary Player

Grant Fuhr, Edmonton Oilers. Listed at 5’10 but likely 5’8 or so. Helped Edmonton to multiple Cups and had a strong career overall.

Monte Towe. Didn't make it as a pro as I recall but he sure ran rings around UCLA (literally) in the national finals. And seeing him next to Tom Burleson was priceless!

A pretty good baseball player too. The only baseball game I attended in 4 years at Duke was to see him and Tim Stoddard play at Duke.

T.J.Rahming. The Duke wide receiver graduated this year and was signed as a free agent by the Redskins. Rahming caught 75 balls for 800+ yds and 8 touchdowns this past season. He had an outstanding career at Duke and stands 5ft 6in tall.

Just saw the initial post and without looking at others, my first pick would be the first "little-big-man" I saw in all of sports:

Calvin Murphy, 5'9. Tough, hard nosed, and great. Niagara U and then Houston Rockets.

He and Bob Lanier had some battles in college when Lanier was with St. Bonaventure and Murphy with Niagara. Lanier led the Bonnies to the Final Four in 1970 but broke his leg in the regional final and wasn't able to play in the FF against Artis Gilmore).
