Sure Alabama has hit some shots. But they gave up 79pts in 34 minutes! Can’t win a game like that.

This is 2025. We should have models that can look past possessions where we have garbage time or the foul fest/prevent defense that happens at the ends of game that artificially inflates offensive stats.When your up by a ton, giving up points is pretty meaningless. Essentially garbage time. That’s one of my problems with reliance of efficiency metrics. They treat every possession the same but they don’t all have the same meaning and everyone doesn’t approach all with the same intensity.
