I’ll prob kick myself for bringing it up and mods please delete if necessary. But with the Ga runoff declaring two blue seats to give the Dems Senate power, Manchin has been on record as stating he does not support the far left agenda. I thought it’s been rumored in the past he has considered switching party’s. To avoid the pressure from the left that’s coming to vote the way they want him to...would he switch parties? I haven’t lived in WV for 30+ years but his moderate vote is going to change many things in this country. What side he’s affiliated with would be easier for him to vote the way he wants to?

This is exactly right.... and BEFORE 2024 rolls around, he'll be working for Biden in some staff position..... Otherwise, WV will finally run him out on a rail.

so to prevent WV running him out...would he switch parties? Seems to me the state has turned red over last 20 years.
Just curious the opinion on Joe of those that live in WV

When it comes to packing the court and ending the filibuster, he’s likely going to be the difference in the vote (or at least one of few). He’s been on record saying he won’t vote for those.

I can’t stand the guy (and his daughter), but he’s actually going to save this country when it comes to a lot of issues over the next 4 years.

Manchin is putting all of his eggs in a Biden re-election (or Harris) for 2024. He won’t be elected mayor in WV after this. As mentioned ITT he sold his soul to the left and will be expecting to be rewarded accordingly the next time around.

Let us not forget the state changed, he didn't. As king coal died in Wv the dem party faded away. Hillary's words killed the party in this state. Manchin is slowly becoming more moderate, we survive because of change. Mr. Manchin, if you're reading this is your chance, to walk into the arms of 72 mil. people and save this country from demise.

I know him and he'll never switch parties. I raised a ton of money for him and worked my butt off to help him when he ran for governor and the senate. I regret this immensely.....

Like I said...if wrong board then mods can delete it. Honestly I pay to post here and don’t even go to other boards.
As I said. I think that it’s a good question. My understanding is that they want to keep politics off of the Blue Lot. That is all that I meant.
