The "Greatest Generation" witnessed unbelievable horrors. Were all of them "mental" . No.

The 60s were loaded with nonsense. Mental?

I can't do what I want, I can't have a cell phone in class, I can't work because I'm mental. It never ends.

Mental? Right.

Late teens in the late 60's. That was a very turbulent time in U.S. history. There was a good deal of "mental" back then. The difference then was people sucked it up and moved forward, unlike today.

I prefer the term Psychiatric Disorder. If what supposed mental problem they have doesn’t fit any DSM-5 criteria, then they are just plain snowflakes.
