I played gigs with them when they were very young teenagers. We hated them; they were terrible. RJ spilled soda on my drummer's foot pedals while Lzzy ran around the bar screaming in an old wedding dress. We were cool, of course.

Now they have an Atlantic Records contract and a Grammy and I'm here.

I stopped hating on Gaga when I found out she was the lead singer in a Zeppelin cover band. But your point stands.

I think the Halestorm singer was on the ESPN gameday theme song video for awhile there, just to tie this all in.
