This game just gets more and more unrecognizable to me. Manfred is considering a golden at-bat rule where one time per game, a team can, at any point in the game, and regardless of batting order, send any hitter of its choosing to the plate.

That's nuts.

How about once per game, we let teams opt to either kick an extra point through a goal post or let them go for 2.

Too bad not all teams have an Ohtani or an Aaron Judge or a Juan Soto.

I know I said it’s a terrible idea, but the way you worded it, I just thought, “any hitter of their choosing?” The Braves have selected Freddie Freeman to bat next, so here Freddie, put on your Braves helmet 😂

Not sure why every sport seems to want to change how things are done. It’s as though they all want to be LIV golf where there’s a party with live music on every hole. Im all for change if it makes sense and like the new kickoffs in the NFL this doesn’t make sense.

MLB is going to keep "improving" the game until no one is watching anymore.

Thankfully I haven't seen anyone who actually likes the idea.

I might just give up on baseball forever if some crap like this was put in place. Talk about a travesty.
