My beautiful and talented wife Debbie made me a wonderful 4th of July supper tonight. And yes it's called supper here in the great south not dinner. A great chicken casserole topped off by some hot from the oven "nanner puddin." Sorry you missed out on it DukeSky85. Maybe you can get the recipe from your beautiful an talented mother. I'll say this. I've never eaten hof coach roy williams wife wanda's "nanner puddin" but I'll put iDebbie's up against wanda's anytime with all respect to wanda.. And if Coach K ever needs it as a recruiting tool which he never will I will send it to him. Might get me some tickets right behind the Duke bench a Cameron when unccheat rolls into town. :D OFC

Forgive my ignorance, but what is the backstory behind the nanner pudding? Did some UNC recruit mention Wanda's banana pudding as the best part of an official visit?

For some reason years ago it seemed like I heard hof coach roy williams say how good wanda williams' "nanner puddin" was in one of his famous pressers. It was a good while ago and I can't remember the circumstance but I thought it was pretty funny and I've been using it claiming unc uses it as a recruiting tool all in fun. I'm pretty sure hof coach roy williams doesn't feed all the recruits "nanner puddin" on their visits. At least I don't think he does. ;) OFC

No, he's to busy telling them about all the impermissible benefits and no show classes UNC will provide.

I really like to eat strawberry pudding!
I have never had strawberry puddin but I would like to try it. That makes me think of all the puddins that I like. Lets see, in Bubba style rendention theres vanilla puddin, chocolate puddin, coconut puddin, tapioca puddin, rice puddin, of course nanner puddin, maybe cherry puddin, blueberry puddin, peach puddin, fig puddin, bread puddin. Thats all I can think of right now.
