Feel horrible for Hayward. Just horrible. That the kind of injury which could be career-ending. Best of luck to him.

I wanted to keep this in a separate post just because of the injury.

That said, I’m really excited for the NBA season. Now I know, there’s a good chance we get Warriors-Cavs again, but the Wolves, for a change, are promising. There’s also a lot of other good storylines, including the Rockets, Thunder and Celtics.

I realize many don’t appreciate the NBA, and I do get that, but I’m a really big fan. Looking forward to a fun season.

Hate it for Hayward. It shows how quick things can change.
On a different note, did you guys see the Nike commercial with the kid and Lebron, and the college team the kid was playing for? That is some good advertisement for Duke. Haha

Haven't see that one. I tried to goggle it, but not sure I am finding the one you are talking about.

Was really hoping Kyrie would be clutch there at the end.

My mind can't get off of Hayward's injury. Just horrific not only in and of itself, but of all things considered.

I was watching that game and texted my buddy saying please tell me that is just his shoe facing that way bc it came off. So gruesome. Hope he’s alright.

Great game though in spite of that which is a testament to both teams- anytime that happens you can easily understand not wanting to play. Kyrie was fantastic and thought Tatum was really good as well.

Hate, hate, hate to see players in any sport, at any level injured.

Here is the Nike ad;

Warriors a little distracted last night? Oh well. Lots of games left including tonight.
