Can you stop with that bs take already.
He’s obvious not a shutdown defenseman but look at his production
His good outweighs his soft defensive play.
My take is as valid as your take. We have quite a bit of production as well as guys who can play PP point. We need guys who can play defense & he can't. Soft & slow. Living on his laurels. He stinks.

Devils gave up the 8th fewest goals last year and had the third best goal differential overall.
There is no major problem with this team.
While I get frustrated sometimes with his defensive play, over the past 5 years he ranks 3rd in the league in goals from a D-Man. You can't just replace that

It is. And one of the prices of being relevant is it becomes harder to get their games locally as many are national TV.
I don't spend enough money for DIRECTV. I am so pleased that I am able to spend even more money for ESPN+!

He was a +24 last year 5v5. Best amongst our d-men. Ill agree he’s pretty slow and not very physical but he is very good. Saying he stinks is ridiculous.

I am NOT a Disney fan, but you need to get ESPN+ if you don't have it. League's are selling more games exclusively, as live sports is one of a few things people watch in real time. Over 1,000 hockey games. Missing your team hurts your quality of life, not the mouse.

This team with Marty Brodeur…the guy with the bad haircut and his white gloves would be already staying at a hotel near EWR.
All time, they’re actually top 10 in shootout wins. Parise, Kovalchuk and Langenbrunner with Brodeur on the other end would carry them. Since 2013-14 though, they’ve won 27 of 85 shootouts. Worst in the league by a country mile.
Just pull the goalie with 90 seconds left in OT and go for broke. I’d rather go down swinging with these weapons than mail in a loss in a shootout.
