Peyton Manning? And Kelly Clarkson? Yeah, it's a weird duo - also, why is Snoop Dogg there? I loved the opening ceremony (so refreshing to not be in a giant, boring stadium) but I prefer the Winter Games as far as excitement/watching goes.

Disagree. While the parade of nations was different I didn’t like the boats at all. Very little back stories on the teams or individuals and hey look that barge has 3 small nations on it. Lady Gaga sings a lot in French - so, maybe that’s why? Dunno. Worse than her was was very out of synch Can Can dancers; I’ve seen the Moulin Rogue in Paris three times and they’re never that off. Maybe it was the rain?

Well, the opening ceremonies were a mess in a rainstorm and now they reveal the Olympic flame balloon they “lit” is actually fake. It’s 40 LED lights and water mist creating the appearance of a flame, not actual fire.

They spent months lighting the flame in Olympia, Greece and running it all around France, only to extinguish it at the biggest moment of the opening ceremony and fake it with LED lights.
