I'm shocked by how Oregon has struggled this year.

Moore going out is a huge blow. He was a first round qb last year and who knows what happens after this year. Raiola signed to be their qb and was in line to start until Moore came back.

I understand the street racing squad at WR made horrible choices and will now be out for maybe a game or two more?

All of that doesn't explain what else is going on. They can't move the ball on offense. Their defense got smashed by Illinois.

What gives? They looked like they were going to be really good.

Defense was much better, OLine was great for them last year. They have dropped off because their rushing attack isn't as potent, their defense is giving up a ton of yards per game in comparison to last year, and they have no QB.

Besides losing coaches, Oregon lost a lot of players--some to the NFL and others as transfers. They retained several starters, but lost a lot of depth.

They're literally a program that has their coordinators poached and picked for programs to lead as head coaches. I mean you have Will Stein making Kentucky worthwhile and you have Tosh Lupoi leaving for the Cal Bears. Every time you turn around there's at least one Oregon coordinator that's taking over a new program. Obviously you can see what losing Will did and probably a lesser extent Tosh. Imagine Iowa and losing 6 to 8 coordinators over a 10-year period?

NW will beat them this weekend and when you put your faith to Ravioli to be your starting qb, you are screwed. Guy better get as much money as he can in college cause he ain’t making the pros. Just glad he took down his old team. LoL.

It happens to top programs. We've been so lucky that we've had 2 of the best d coordinators in the nation over the last 27 years, which is crazy. Go back to when Hayden got here and look at his staff. Crazy good. When they finally started getting poached it started his downfall along with other things obviously. It's not all about money, though some people on here think it is.
