All is well in Nelson County. We lost power last week for about four hours. I have the best conversations with family when it happens. They have nowhere to run to.
Several years back we had an ice storm the week before Christmas. We lost power for eight days. Best eight days in recent memory. That almost heroic feeling when you deliver calm, safety, and grilled cheese burgers. That complete lack of electronic noise. Enjoy it while it last.
