Hi,

I need a not too formal dinner recommendation near the Short Hills area for a casual-ish business dinner. Open to almost any cuisine.

TIA!

Summit is nearby and I would recommend Fiorino, Roots, Summit House, Huntley Tavern. Maple wood also near by and I would recommend Lorena’s.

I like the Millburn Standard for this kind of thing. Though it’s not what I would call a quiet place.

River Grille in Chatham, probably about a mile and a half from the mall. It’s a cozy bar with small dining area and surprisingly upscale bar food.

Only issue is that since it’s small and popular you’ll have to wait for a table some nights.

I concur with jtung above... it's been a while, but I've been to both Summit House and the Huntley Tavern and enjoyed the meal at both.
