The great Colts receiver has passed away. Made a living catching every ball from Johnny U along the sidelines.
Never dropped a pass. RIP Raymond.

Damn. Another one of the all-time greats is gone.
As a kid playing the game he was an inspiration to those of us not blessed with outstanding speed, but route running skill and great hands.Remember him well and will always be one of the greatest NFL WRs to play the game, in my mind.
His hands and route running were a sight to see , speed wasn't important with the talent he had
Sounds like the way I played the game, caught what was thrown, but in slow motion .As a kid playing the game he was an inspiration to those of us not blessed with outstanding speed, but route running skill and great hands.
Don't forget Alan "the Horse" Ameche who broke every Giant fan's heart in 1958 and was a one of the best NFL FBs when he played with Berry in BaltimoreLong time Colt teammate of RU's Bill Pellington.
Johnny U
Lenny Moore
Berry
Gino Marchetti
Big Daddy
Jim Parker
Art Donovan
Those were some great teams.

Yes indeed. And as Madhat1 said Ameche. You couldn't block Marchetti off the end. You couldn't run at him or around him.Long time Colt teammate of RU's Bill Pellington.
