He was 71. He was a host on WFAN on weekends about youth sports. He had a good program. He lost his battle with brain cancer
Did not know that. RIP. Hadn’t heard him on there in while. Sad. Bob Wolff is one of my first memories of the MSG network when it got started. Trying to catch an RU game on channel 20 on Storer Cable with Bob Wolff and Cal Ramsey calling the action.Sad to hear. His show was very informative.
He was the son of legendary broadcaster Bob Wolff.

Good grief, wasn't he on the radio last weekend? Perhaps an old show?RIP. I listened to him every Sunday AM. Always loved his shows since I coached all levels of youth sports when my kids were growing up.
Not sure but I definitely listened to his show about a month ago. I am usually skiing Sunday AM's so I don't get a chance to listen in the winter.Good grief, wasn't he on the radio last weekend? Perhaps an old show?
I think it may have been a taped show, because Jerry Recco just brought up that same thing. It's amazing how many people listened to that show regularly at that time on a Sunday. It means he did a pretty damn good job.Not sure but I definitely listened to his show about a month ago. I am usually skiing Sunday AM's so I don't get a chance to listen in the winter.
I listen to Richard Neer and Rick Wolff in the morning as part of my weekend lazy morning routine. Wake up, but hit the snooze for 20-30 mins with the radio on in the background. Been hearing those voices for years and years.I think it may have been a taped show, because Jerry Recco just brought up that same thing. I generally heard Rick when I had to do something really early for work and was in the car going somewhere at that hour. But I couldn't believe how many people were always up listening and calling in.I listen to Richard Neer and Rick Wolff in the morning as part of my weekend lazy morning routine. Like Richard Neer, he had many callers who were “regulars”.I generally heard Rick when I had to do something really early for work and was in the car going somewhere at that hour. But I couldn't believe how many people were always up listening and calling in.
