if I get a new car, can I use my RU plates or do I need to apply for another set of plates for $100 again?

You can transfer your plates to the new car. I still have my blue NJ RU plates from when they first came out. They've been transferred several times.
Thanks for that info, but do they charge a transfer fee?
Does anyone know how to get the RU alumni plates?I don't remember. It's been quite awhile since my last transfer. A quick scan of the DMV website doesn't mention any fee where they mention transferring plates.
haha that is greatPLATES? can't figure if this is name calling - or self-loathing
