Rory still a sensitive douche:

It it wasn’t a disgrace when the fans waved their hats and actively heckled the players every chance they got. Europeans always judging Americans when they historically treat our team worse. Wait until they show up at Beth page in 2 years!

Ugh…Scheffler up 1 on 18th over Rahm..loses hole and match is halved.

US needed that full point for any realistic chance of the comeback. Brutal.

Things getting interesting with Homa getting a point with that great up and down on 18 after that terrible lie he decided he had to take a drop from. 14-9 with the US leading the next 3...could come down to the last 2, which the Euros are leading...Euros just need a 1/2 a point to clinch...

Justin Thomas, Speith, or Fowler. Which one will choke and lose the event for the US?

Fowler just put it in the water. Essentially over now, unless Fleetwood 3-putts from 30 feet...

A little surprised Fowler conceded a Cup winning 2.5' putt...

Top 2 finishes:
Reed = 4th and 18th
Fowler = 5th and 23rd

Fowler also didn't even qualify for the Masters and missed the cut at the PGA.

LOL!
I see you are bringing you stock and investment analysis to golf. Love the mix and match.

Here are the real facts:

Open: Ricky 23 Reed 33
US Open: Ricky 5 Reed 56
PGA: Ricky 77 Reed 18

You are correct Ricky didn’t qualify for the Masters.

I actually pointed that out. Just trying to compare the two on level playing field. I could mentioned Ricky was a winner on tour and Reed hasn’t won anything on any tour.

ZJ should never be allowed to captain anything ever again. He set this team up for failure from the first days pairings.

He sacrificed the first 2 matches with those pairings. Love Sam Burns and Scottie but in what world should they have been partnered. Same with Fowler and Morikawa. All with leaving the only one that could max the alpha of Rahm on the bench, koepka.

Xander Morikawa and Schefler were the reason this team was anhilated. You can’t have 3 of your guns, that played 4 sessions account for 2 points the entire event. They needed to get 6 between them minimum.

The same Koepka that lost 9&7? No one stepped up. European team wanted it more and was playing better golf. Can’t put all the blame on the captain

Koepka was the only Captains pick not to have a losing record. Who cares what they lost or won by. There are no bonuses for winning or losing big.

Yep same guy. Played well on Friday afternoon. Should have been out there in the morning. There was no one out there that played with a bit of swagger. Koepka got smoked on Saturday but the momentum was already solidly in europes favor.

Agreed no one stepped up. But the captain does deserve much of the blame. The pairings were absolutely awful. Those first 2 pairings in Friday morning were set up for failure and the last 2 weren’t much better. Europe wanted it more and took it right at them. They paired personalities and opposite strengths. Whereas ZJ paired same strengths with mixed personalities. There was no fire.

He was a captain’s pick because he is on LIV. He was 1-1-1 with a win against Aberg. Not exactly a big takedown

+1
ZJ royally screwed the pooch. So many better players that could have been chosen.

But still better then all 5 of the others Captains picks. And no he wasn't on the team because he is on LIV. He won a major and finished second in the Masters. Name s player who did that not make the Ryders Cup team for either side. That's a stupid take on your part.

I have no idea if someone who gets hurt or ill can be replaced before the Ryders Cup starts. Fowler was not healthy and should have been replaced if there is a provision for that.
