Just finished watching. That was very hard to watch. Not sure what metrics ZJ was using to base the pairings. ZJ basically spotted Europe a 2-0 lead with the first 2 pairings. Need someone in that grouping who would not be bullied and capable of providing a spark. Not having Brooks out there in the morning groupings? Having Morikawa out there twice? Awful.

They better show up tomorrow or this thing will be over before the tees go in the ground on Sunday.

European team is playing well and the US just doesn’t have an answer.

ETA I agree with one of commentators that having 3 weeks off is not good compare to Euro players playing up to this event.
Yet the US team was practicing on this course since last weekend. Try hitting a fairway once in a while. And sit Speath. He has no idea where his drives are going. Might as well take a day bag and hit irons.

LOL at Spieth comment. He was useless in the 2H match.

Speith and Thomas leading off tomorrow in alternate shot.
Thomas wil have nightmares tonight thinking about the places Jordan puts him
Don't bust on Thomas fellas. (Not directed to you zap(. JT was the one guy showing up out there.

Knew it on his last damn near hole out to miss the FedEx final by 1. He has the ability to rise. Rest of Team USA today.. not so much.

Listening to Johnson’s press conference he was asked if he thought Rahm’s putt was lucky to go in after hitting the back of the cup so hard. (Actually Koepka said it first)

Johnson when explaining what he thought Koepka meant needed clarification the Euro team was down one?

I find that quite odd!!!!
Zach's entire pressor and manerisms and and answers were bizarre. Exceeds ZERO confidence and came across weak.

Comments on "Live" about Luke Donald... ..... and "he's had a huge say in the setup of this golf course"....

is that right? The host Captain gets to help design the pin placements and other? I didn't know that. I thought it was something a little less manipulated by the home team and they were just playing it for what it was.
Wow. That makes a HUGE difference. You're traveling, you're playing different grass and surface, you're playing links vs. American. ..AND you get to set the tees and pins and perhaps penalty areas, etc?

No excuses. They were there for a week. They know all the pin placements already for practice.

Another *** whooping by the European team this morning. They win 3 of 4 matches.
Haven't heard anything thing new about the illness running through the US Team that Zach danced around yesterday.

9&7 are you serious did Scheffler and Koepka even try! That is pathetic for professional golfers. Stick to the Presidents Cup boys

Home team has significant say on how the course will be set up. This is the first time the course was “constructed” to create such an advantage. You usually manipulate a couple things (narrow fairways grow out rough etc…)but always lean towards competitiveness. During renovations in 2021 they made significant changes to take advantage of European skill sets. There is discussion going forward to not allow for such a home field advantage.

Biggest issue the us is having is the exceptionally slow greens. Well besides ball striking.

Not buying this excuse. Maybe it has marginal difference but this is Apollo Creed vs Drako beat down. Brooks talked a lot of trash and backed it up with a 7&9?

What excuse? Team got anhilated in first three outings. ZJ did a horrific job pairing his team. Dennis asked a question. I answered.

Course setup and slow greens. This is the beat down what I expect to see from RU to Wagner.

If you thought I was making an excuse that’s an odd take. I’m embarrassed by lack of passion and overall decision making. They good be playing ata local mini golf course and they would have been in the same position. No excuses. They weren’t ready to play and the decision to pair and play certain individuals was as downright ridiculous.

WTF
NBC barely covering the two matches we’re down 1 in

Am I the only person who thinks the scoreboard graphics sucks? No display of club selected, distance to pin. Just two corners that aren't intuitive to me. Anyone else?

****, two of us could have played in that match and only lost by maybe one more hole. Pathetic.

Both should be ineligible for Ryder Cup play in 25.

So, Europe only needs to win 4 of the 12 matches tomorrow to win the event? Good grief.

Tough but certainly doable for the USA.

They won singles play 8-4 last Ryder Cup and that’s certainly the strength of their team
