When I watched the NFL back in the day this guy was part of the greatest team (Defense mainly) I ever saw. Even though he went to Texas I still like the guy.

He was part of the most vicious and physical defense ever!

I hope the guy goes with some peace.

Crazy thing is he took Brad Shearer's spot. Shearer was another guy who could cave in a Offensive Line.
But had to retire early from football.
Shearer was a junior or senior at Texas when McMichael was a freshman

Dan Hampton deserves some credit as well. Only one of the best Defensive Linemen in the history of football.

The year I was born Buddy Ryan was actually coaching at my local high school
He followed Dub Wooten.

Buddy learned a lot from that man about football.
The last "old school coach" around.
What he did with that team was amazing.

Helped having a great MLB.

I just recently had a difficult watch of a documentary about former NFL linebacker Tim Shaw and his battle with ALS. In his case, it was nice to see how some researchers had developed a program that can make out his speech, which is difficult, and then write or text his words. The most incredible part was it can use recordings from before and you can now hear his words today in his voice as it was before.
