Genuinely curious, why you can't stand him?

The whole beef with Dwight . Seems silly to be mad about a guy using the Superman cape for the dunk contest . He says Dwight stole his nickname . Most people don’t even call him Superman we call him Shaq .



But this is the big reason . This is beyond pranking someone . This isn’t the only nasty prank a player has told about him either . There was another story told about him putting **** in his teammates shoes .

I’m on team can’t stand Shaq either. His ego is uncomfortably huge; he’s pretty much an idiot and he’s a lot less funny than he believes himself to be.

The guy is 100% living life and trying to stay young. We all fail the 2nd part. He loves kids, donates trailer loads to toys and such to kids in need. He makes as much fun of himself as he does others. Not saying you have to like anyone. I am not a fan or a hater but can see a guy that leans into his celebrity, makes fun of his celebrity and typically just has fun.

Correct, but a deal was struck with ABC/ESPN to allow him to continue hosting Inside the NBA along with the other guys. Now, there is rumor Ernie may retire, but it's expected he will at least do one more year.

Yup. It will basically continue to be a TNT production, ESPN is just paying for the rights to air it on their networks. Apparently it will be exactly the same, produced by the TNT crew and all the staff will remain, it will just air on ESPN. ABC/ESPN should have zero creative control over any of it, which seeing how bad their NBA coverage is, will be very good.
