Technically QC has it, "Special." However Sky you came so close....it May have been referred to as "Christian Special" at some point. Let me know if you find that reference anywhere. QC you are up....OFC

Answer either question and you are up.
1. Who is arguably the greatest assistant coach in ACC history. Hint. He did not have a long career in ACC.
2. Why was smoking banned at Duke basketball games at Cameron? Hint. This cannot be proven but I did read this on a old Duke site.

You got it. Worked with Dick Groat for 3 months but left because he thought it appeared he was waiting for
Gerry Gerald [who was very ill ] to pass away.
Remember how sometimes Cameron was full of cigarette smoke? Plus it was not air conditioned. I read that after a certain game Terry Sanford’s wife Margaret Rose had a hole in her sweater from a cigarette burn caused by a fan sitting near her. It wasn’t long after that there was no more smoking inside. You are up.

Thanks Hoops and good info! Unfortunately Duke lost the ACC Tourney Final to UNC in '79, although it was bookended by ACC Championship runs in '78 and '80.

In that '79 final Duke was missing Bob Bender, its starting PG. Why did Bob miss the title game?? OFC

Which Duke player was drafted by the Celtics but he said no. He was tired of the travel plus he had more money waiting for him working for IBM. He later on became a furniture salesman.

Not Golden. Just checked and he played ABA for Indianapolis Pacers.
Did not realize he died a few years ago.

Not Dick who like Golden died too young. Dick played and coached in Europe and Latin America. My guy did not play in the back court but he played in same era. He was 6ft 10

As a player at Florida, and of course he coached the Blue Devils, Gators and Gamecocks! DDF4L you are up!
Thanks, I took a wild guess because I knew he was Duke’s football coach way back in the day. Since I saw someone ask a wrestling question a few days ago I’ve got another wrestling question.

Name the 2 wrestlers that are recognized by WWE as 16 time World Heavyweight Champions?

Well, I doubt it's Hulk Hogan. He reigned for long periods of time, but didn't lose a lot. So maybe Stone Cold Steve Austin and Ric Flair?
