The Johnstown girls LL softball team won the LLWS today defeating a team from Indiana 1-0 in Greenville, NC. JTS is probably pretty happy about that.

My South Williamsport girls competed in the girls LLWS out in Washington back in 2019. They had a great HS team, with a nucleus of the same girls playing in 2 state finals, but falling short in 24 & 25 to Neshannock. The future looks bright for Johnstown in softball.

This year's team won the world series, but this team is not an outlier. They had a couple other teams in recent years lose in the regional finals. They have a heck of a youth program going on there is the Westmont Hilltop area.
