Man it was everything you could ask for. I mean that was incredible. A full match. Took hits. Wow.
Enjoyed it as a kid but don't see the allure now, is it just the nostalgia? Just fun seeing the stunts even knowing it's not 'real?'

Yeah I like them pulling off the moves. The ones that I like or new ones that I haven't seen. Also I like seeing the new monster wrestler. Andre the Giant type you know that's always been the best draw to watch wrestling for me. And wrestling is a business that goes in a cycle. A monster wrestler comes around every 10 to 12 years. Omos is the guy caught me eye. I watch to see if he develops. MONSTER. Look him up

I’m right there with ya. I’ll never get why grown men are into this scripted homoerotic performance art thing we call pro wrestling.

I do get why little kids like it, but the adults who never outgrew it baffle me…

It’s live theater with stunts and storyline. It’s a fun experience especially WrestleMania where you get 70-80K people in the stands.

I’m sure you can understand people going to a concert or a ball game in person, right? I’m sure you watch movies knowing you’re not watching a documentary. 😂

To each their own. I don’t understand the appeal of watching superhero movies where it’s the same thing over and over but everyone has their thing.

Far be it from me to knock on something someone else enjoys. Life's to short for that, if it makes then smile and they are having a good time that's all that matters.

But agreed, it's just not for me anymore. I'd probably still get a kick out of an old WrestleMania with Macho Man and the Uktimate Warrior and Hulk Hogan if I watched it with my dad or something but it'd be purely for the nostalgia trip.

That was cool to see. I have a few friends that go all out for wrestling. And they throw events for Wrestlemania and Royal Rumble. I know nothing about it, but it's fun to be apart of the whole thing.

And while yes, the outcomes are predetermined (and that's why I can never get fully invested in it).. the training, the moves and everything else is legit. That flip over the ropes by Drew McIntyre into Happy and the other guy was unreal. That could have ended so poorly in a bazillion ways... and they nailed it.

Like Randy Orton says, you watch movies and TV shows that are fake as **** too. I love it and don't apologize for it!!
Aint that right!! AMEN.
Wrestling does two things. When you're young it teaches you to accept all Races. Thats wrestling greatest gift. Truly. Brings everybody together. Every race every nationality. Professional wrestling known more around the world than any other sport except soccer and maybe even soccer. Fact.

When your older it keeps you young.

There always has to be the one "that's gay" guy. I mean if you're afraid to watch because it might give you confusing feelings, that's fine. But for me, I enjoy watching the women's matches. They have come a LONG way and are some of the best athletes in the world imo.
Beckys body has come a long way. Tonight i was getting feelings I tell you! Lolo lo l💪 damn becky that butt got better girl! Proud of u😘

I loved wrestling....when I was 8. no doubt they are athletes. just can't get over the fact that it is scripted. not a competition.

Do you watch movies? Broadway shows? I’ll admit I don’t get into wrestling anymore, but I loved seeing Austin back out there tonight. Was nostalgic and he put on one hell of a performance

I hear ya. That’s why I stopped watching Batman. Couldn’t believe he wasn’t really beating Bane and Joker legitimately.

I’d say sports are more scripted than we’d like to believe.

Even though my childhood favorites of the Attitude Era are done full-time like Stone Cold for a one off, one thing's for certain..The ladies are still worth watching ;)
