If you go to BYU and get caught in a pre-marital sexual relationship or drinking caffeine or alcohol, they will discipline your ***. That's what you signed up for, so stop crying. If you work for a corporation or a business who deals directly with the public, you represent that organization and can't say whatever you want whenever you want when it can negatively affect their bottom line, reputation, mission and outreach. I'm a free speech supporter but agree with Sota on this one. When you're part of an organization you're by default a mouthpiece for that organization whether you/they like it or not. You cannot be part of a Christian org. and go that extreme with your comments. Have to maintain a higher standard than that.
As I have said repeatedly in the past, politically correct speech is the greatest danger to First Amendment rights. No matter how unpopular the speech is, giving anyone or group the right to be offended is bullpoop.
