I actually lived around the corner from the victim in north Caldwell when it happened. Street was totally shut down and Leo was everywhere. For a small town north Caldwell had a lot of strange things happen.
Must be why NYC has a fraction of the crime of Jacksonville...Miami...OKC...Tulsa...
In any case, NYC arrested the world's biggest criminal. And he was just indicted again. Thankfully patriots ensured it!
In and among the Republican propaganda is this reality: New York City's crime rate is 95th, lower than Jacksonville, Fort Worth, Dallas, Houston, Orlando, Miami, Austin, Arlington, Laredo, Irving, Tampa. Facts are pesky things.
NYC has a "fraction" of the crime stats because they stopped responding/recording to crimes/calls. Of course stats are higher where police still function. Many cops also make sure to show-up to calls late (hoping everything is over). "Sanctuary" cops were ignoring a lot of stuff 10 years ago but after the BLM insurrection its much worse.
Shoplifting isn't even really a crime anymore in many places (enabling youths to grow into criminal lifestyle). Lots of people also resist reporting crimes due to fear of retribution, fear of immigration status, acclimation to fact cops wont even show (loose pit bull? Dont bother calling). Plus the fed, state and local govs outright lie on many stats.

Too clever by half using "those who kill whites" and "those who kill African-Americans" rather than mentioning the race of the convicted. This can also be explained by the racial makeup of juries which are probably more likely to be majority white where whites are killed.
In any case, race should have nothing to do with it and, IMO, shouldn't even be mentioned by those trying to execute the death penalty. We are talking about a small number these days. So just end it... with the number being so small.. is it really a deterrence?

Well that's the issue. It doesn't even say that. It says white lives are valued more than black lives. They have a significant statistical argument in support of that idea. But that would bring up uncomfortable questions.. like do blacks value black lives? That's why it should not even be mentioned in this argument against capital punishment.

As to your point, there are a slew of reaction videos to a video called "What are we doing to White People" which has 4M views and has not been taken down by Google. And a lot of black "reaction" YouTubers view it and react to it live... as well as a reaction thing to a Thomas Sowell piece on the history of slavery.
I suggest you watch those to realize that many blacks, perhaps most, do not buy into the propaganda from the left. I won't link them nor discuss them further.. that's for the CE board.

In some states they don't report gun owners who have committed crimes to the FBI. You think other places are 100% honest with their Stats? Murder rates are usually pretty accurate thanks to dead bodies. When you don't like the facts just allege they're not accurate. That way you never have to change your mind.

going back to the previous list of things against capital punishment conference by RU#s.. one of which was how killing whites results in a death sentence more than killing blacks.. in areas that are largely white.. whites kill whites.. and in areas that are largely black, blacks kill blacks. To which I say.. duh.. of course. So if blacks live more in liberal states that do not have the death penalty or are reluctant to pursue it.. of course killing whites in states where they have the death penalty and use it.. of course killing whites is more likely to get you that penalty... including the unibomber.

Partisan hacks on the right feel the need to hate NYC and everything about it, and hence must spin anything good about the city as a lie and actually bad, while at the same time lauding red state cities with much worse vital statistics, and far fewer assets. They will never admit there is anything good there. For their part, on the left partisan hacks will never admit anything is good about red states or cities. At the end of the day, though, dry stats show that most quality of life indexes are better in blue states and cities with the exception of affordability--and that the federal government transfers huge amounts of money from blue states to red states.

Some red states are. The last I saw Texas was roughly break even but many smaller red states get back 2 or 3 dollars for every dollar they put in. On the other hand, CA, NY and NJ get leeched for tens of billions each year. It adds up. Lots of red states get to keep their tax rates lower as a result and then tout their wonderful low taxes.
As for crime, the states with the highest crime rates are mostly red and the states with the lowest ones mostly blue, though there are some red states like the Dakotas and Northern rocky mountain states that have very low rates, too. Basically, the states that dominate the bottom of the charts for everything are usually southern.
The blue states are not perfect and lag in some things, like affordability--they absolutely need to build more housing and get taxes down--but most stats show that quality of life is better in blue states, including income, education, obesity rates and life expectancy.
Most cities have Democrat mayors, from rich to poor and safe to dangerous, just like most rural areas are led by Republicans, from farms to meth labs. You can't make any generalizations of parties as a result.
No.. it is just that the propaganda machine's answer to all this talk about crumbling cities with Dems in charge is to point to "red states" and a couple GOP cities that have a specific crime stat that looks worse than a specific Dem city (that is not, yet, crumbling).. Bakersfield and Jacksonville you often see mentioned. And I am certain should typical Dem voters in some city decide to try something else and vote in a GOP challenger, then that is the moment where that cities past crime stats become the responsibility of the new GOP mayor.
