McNulty was a nostalgia hire. It didn’t work out because he didn’t have Zuttah & Anthony Davis as linemen this time around.

Greg Schiano would also be a nostalgia hire.

How about this for starters? You get rid of your BOT and start over. Barchi leaving is a start. You can have the best AD and HC in place but without competence at the very top, you still won’t succeed the way you truly could.

Welllllll... isn't the RU HC gig different? With respect to football only, how many schools would trade their leadership for ours (BOG, president, AD)? Imo, that's clearly one of the most obvious differences.

Temple now ranked 25th in latest coaches poll. They beat 19th ranked SMU next week in Dallas and UCF the following week in Philly they will likely break into top 20 or maybe even higher. That is a G5 program that has its **** together. Amazing transformation from where they were to where they are now. Gives hope for us.
