This isnt even a controversial issue. Everybody wants justice served to the guy. The next person that defends him will be the first.Doesn’t have to be locked - just a post about a guy whose got it coming, and who brought it on himself.
The looting and destruction of property of fires puts our country back 10 years and doesn’t serve any purpose by honoring his death..
Yeah man it’s the looting that’s the problem, cool take. This is getting locked anyways, not worth the time. The looting and destruction of property of fires puts our country back 10 years and doesn’t serve any purpose by honoring his death..

You sound like a british loyalist! You would be the dude whining about the racially insensitive Patriots dumping tea into Boston Harbar! Or saying don't avenge the murder of Crispus Attucks, it will set us back ten years. Riots and public displays of dissatisfaction are the American way. Politics and governance are contact sports brah, just ask Robespierre. #realAmerican #GBR #babes

This is not the place for this conversation so agree to disagree.170 businesses were destroyed during this time of Covid.
You think those people give a damn that someone was shot by the cops.
Hell no
Start thinking of people lives not what makes headlines.

So if the looting isn’t the real problem but it set our country back 10 years, how many years did the murder of George Floyd set us back? Just trying to follow the logic. It’s NOT the real
Problem obviously but people are looting and starting fires
are not thinking of Floyd or give a ****.
Its mostly the fact that nobody needed to riot to get justice here. Outside of maybe the far, far fringe of white supremacists everybody wants this cop charged with murder. Burning down businesses and looting did nothing other than cause unnecessary damage. So if the looting isn’t the real problem but it set our country back 10 years, how many years did the murder of George Floyd set us back? "This" specifically isn't setting us back 10 years, but agree it's just the latest **** show in the good old USA. The last 4 years in general has set us back 10 years. Who am I kidding, more like 30 years. I'm not talking politics. I'm talking hatred, racism, intolerance, all that good stuff.Listen to logic..like what crazyhole has pointed out.. That is setting us back 10 years... We all know the cop is quality everything else puts us back by not demonstrating in the right way..

I’m not advocating for rioting, I never once said I supported it. I’m saying people who focus on that are missing the point entirely and once again finding a way to avoid the actual problem.I cannot think of a better way to honor an innocent man's death than by destroying the city you live in by setting it on fire and stealing a 55" flat screen and destroying a pharmacy where people go to get much needed prescriptions and smashing open cash registers. Call me a pessismist, but I doubt Floyd would have wanted his town burned to the ground and more innocent people injured.

Very well said..
I haven't seen a single person in this thread defend looting.Isolated individual incidents arent setting us back as far as organized masses of selectively, reactive outraged SJWs that do nothing in their life to invoke change...unless social media is lit up. Than they join in looting and screaming. Being racist and being part of an institution does not spell institutional racism as much as individual racism. Defending looting by saying it isnt the main problem doesnt help any either. The looters are capitalizing on the situation, not showcasing how tired of "opression" they are. Cop was wrong. So are looters. Period.
here is where I come in.. I've seen the videos, the different angles and such. This isnt even a controversial issue. Everybody wants justice served to the guy. The next person that defends him will be the first.
I said defending it by saying it isnt the main problem. I agree it isnt the main problem, but I wont dismiss it and chastise anyone who brings it up as being racist or missing the point. It is a joke how nobody does **** to change their community unless social media is in a stir. Being Reactive to injustice is the laziest approachI haven't seen a single person in this thread defend looting.

Those cops hear that kind of stuff (I can't breathe, my hands hurt, my arm, shoulder, neck, etc) every fricken day. It's like somehow they are supposed to make your detention/arrest more comfortable for you..? please.
So, if you watch the vid, that guy wasn't trying to kill him. He was just sort of holding him there. Yes by a knee and his weight on the guys neck.
You want to know why he probably died? Because the crowd was there. The cops were focused on the crowd, watching for someone to let off and come at them.
Your crowd of home boys actually made things worse. Your 'in their face' jibe talking whatever, contributed to this mans' death.
Had there been no threat from the crowd, the cops likely would have been actually focused on that guy, and would have seen him pass out or likely would have noticed.
This idea that he was trying to kill him is insane. It's an involuntary manslaughter, absolutely. But it's not murder.
Now maybe that procedure should be looked at by the police department, because it apparently isn't safe to apply, but does this raise to the level of burning everything down and being the best version of yourself for all the world to see?
I don't think so.
this is not an accurate representation of what I saidYeah, I'll strangle my wife to death tonight and then blame it on the kids for distracting me by yelling at me to stop........
Both of you are sounding very unintelligent right now. The cop is a ****** person and cop. To be clear, I think the cop was wrong. However, "open season" claims are ********. Dont break the law, and you will never have to deal with that kind of ****. Before any SJW thinks I am victim blaming, know that I understand it is not justification for the death, but the cop wasn't seeking an innocent black guy to kill. This whole thing goes both ways, and until conversations can happen, its hopeless.Yeah, I'll strangle my wife to death tonight and then blame it on the kids for distracting me by yelling at me to stop........

No, it doesnt. But a lot of rage in these protests are about supposed mass oppression and institutionalized racism when it's more likely isolated incidents that get air time and social media traction. I just like to point out that it is almost never some guy minding his own business is suddenly targeted and killed. It is far less systemic than it is spun to be. That is why all these people only care for 1 week or so every year or so. Their lives are so uninhibited by oppression, they forget they were supposed to complain about it. Cops shouldn't kill, but by and large, this is not an institutional issue. More innocent blacks die at the hands of eachother and there is no outrage in the public eye. I stress the importance of pointing to hypocrisy. I think logically, not politically. You should never die at the hands of law enforcement, unless you are trying to take someone's life. That may be but he didn’t kill anyone he just tried to cash a counterfeit $20..
That doesn’t deserve being handled in that manner they already had handcuffs on and 3 other policemen engaging along..
A lot of people get arrested. More than you realize. Doesn't give cops the right to use excessive force. I'm sure there are plenty of McDonald's employees who like to shoot customers for their behavior. But they don't. Because dealing with ******** comes with the territory, just like with cops. Both of you are sounding very unintelligent right now. The cop is a ****** person and cop. Again, I did not excuse the force. I simply point to the fact that these people are not innocent people targeted solely by their color to be put to death. A lot of white people die in police custody as well, more than you know. Believe me, I dont believe cops should kill, I also dont buy institutional racism or the fact that most cops are crooked. The truth is in the middle. Honestly, all the deaths publicly posted start out with people refusing basic commands. Again, not justifying, just pointing to all the facts, not just one side.A lot of people get arrested. More than you realize. Doesn't give cops the right to use excessive force. It is clear, that cop had problems. They absolutely do not train you to use a "blood choke " like he did. The cop was probably scared, because he is a ***** and that dude was a big dude. He was scared of him because he was big and black. Because of his parents lack of culturing and raising their son to be a sensible man. Not because the police department taught him to kill. Or from white privilege. The guy is a piece of ****. Very small representation of white men/cops.The cops body english seems odd to me. For him to keep his left hand in his pocket, was he able to put more force in the mans neck? 9 minutes of keeping your hand in your pocket while kneeling on someone seems weird on a subdued individual.
from which side? racism and hate really started to ramp up around 2013"This" specifically isn't setting us back 10 years, but agree it's just the latest **** show in the good old USA. It's kind of their sworn duty to protect citizens not kill them........Another words for those of you that don’t understand? More Afro Americans kill one another at a higher rate than the police in this country..
That never gets put out.. Only when a policemen kills a AfroAmerican does it cause a uproar..
