I've read that the PGA Tour is on life support. The merger with LIV hasn't been finalized and LIV now has the upper hand. I am concerned the PGA Tour, as we once knew it, is over.

Supposedly, Rahm will make between $450,000,000 and $600,000,000. Hard to turn down that kind of money for less work. He's a Eruo anyway and really doesn't have any connections to the PGA witch is a USA tour, for the most part.

PGA made NCAA like moves to counter the LIV money. Couple that with further poor management and the money spent on the lawsuits resulted in the coffers being depleted. Since Jon's college days in AZ he has lived in the USA and has an American wife. His online net worth is listed as a surprisingly low $20 million. Definitely hard to turn down the $500 million ish monies.
