My prayers are with you and hope you are safe. I live in the area in N.C. called the Piedmont. It is in the northern middle part of the state. Most area high school football games have been moved to tonight. Prayers go out to all the thr guys also because I know many of them live in the ares. OFC

I am in Fayetteville NC. Just saw on tv that there have been 42 water rescues from flooded vehicles today and there will be a curfew implemented later today or tonight. Facebook shows water up to the car roofs around me.

Noah might be on the way!

Just saw a video on Facebook of a guy in Hope Mills swimming in his neighborhood and then he stood up and the water was almost up to his waist

This is bad. I think the weather guys dropped the ball on this one. There are a few rivers expected to crest above what they were after Hurricane Floyd. And that was a 500 year flood.

We have a mess down here. The river flooded higher than it did during Hazel and that was the record set in 1954. We lost 3 trees in our yard and there are a lot down throughout town. Overall, it's mainly water damage.

The people just north of us and towards Fayetteville will have a long day Monday and Tuesday as the flood waters come down the Cape Fear. It's hard to imagine it being worse than Floyd but that's what they're calling for. Which means a lot of people will be in some hard times.

Two utility poles snapped in half on my property and several trees down. No word on whether a tornado touched down, but the locals are betting on it. Probably no power for more than a week. Wires everywhere. Thank God for Duke basketball, Husqvarna, and John Deere.
