Cosmo’s cheesesteaks are top notch, but I haven’t had one in years. Catalano’s Italian market in West Scranton has, in my opinion, the best Italian hoagie money can buy. Simple but perfectly executed. Not meat heavy like some rank their hoagies. The optimal balance of meat, cheese, bun, peppers, dressing, and seasonings. Man, I might have to drive to Scranton before my flight out of PIT on Sunday.
Oh, and Pro Tip. Don’t call them pies in Scranton. They’re known as trays.
