Fully support Musk on this one, but still won’t sign up for Twitter. Completely against social media of any kind, but glad it’s moving in the right direction.

Nah can’t do it. My hatred for social media transcends the political arena. Thought it was the worst thing our culture has ever embraced long before it all became a political power struggle. The politics just made it 1000x worse.

I think Twitter and Reddit are the two biggest cancers online. Maybe Musk helps it but that crap is poison to the mind and soul.
I got rid of my account a few years back after being addicted to it. It’s just bad for you. Reddit and Twitter have probably the most terrible humans dominate the sites and content for years.
Are you going to conveniently forget that Twitter lost $221 million in 2021 and $1.1 billion in 2020?
Just this year Twitter lost $166 million in q1 and $270 million in q2.
They don't exactly have a track record for being in the black. Two of the last ten, 2018 and 2019, are the only positive years.
If Elon can figure out how to not lose a billion in a year, would say his leadership at least equals his predecessors?

Musk had an extra $44 billion laying around to buy Twitter as a hobby project, after founding companies such as PayPal, Tesla and SpacEx. He made enough money while I was typing this post to buy your parents’ house and evict you from their basement.
He has actually tackled the child porn and exploitation on the site. Its weird that Forbes had never run an article about child porn on twitter until this week where they said that Musk stopping it on twitter is actually bad for kids....
Some people really seem upset that twitter is more free speech and less child rapey. I can't figure out why people all the sudden want him to fail.
