Twitter was in a shambles BEFORE he bought it. So many fake accounts that they weren't worth their valuation. They lied on purpose to drive the price up on Musk or any potential buyers. That used to be called fraud and came with a prison sentence. Now, no worries if you're fascist and support the surveillance state.

The really good question is why did Musk want to buy it? Did he buy it because it was wasting its potential? Very well may be the reason.

Their reach shrunk because they shut down conservative and moderate users' accounts. Anyone else that didn't parrot the cvd narrative and mandates was shut down as well. Perhaps he thinks he can expand actual membership and drive real advertising revenue through it.

Maybe he needs a company to dump poorly performing assets into, or maybe he needs to show a loss after all of the gains he's gotten elsewhere.

No matter what, twitter was a shell of what they claimed it was and it was nothing more than an echo chamber for the left and for globalism.

You make gas and utility costs skyrocket, cut supply, **** down ports, open the borders, pay non-citizens and give them free housing, send foreign governments tons of money so inflation skyrockets, then you raise interest rates.
Not being political because I don’t give a **** and don’t think it really matters either way but my super far left friend was all excited Nevada chick won to seal the senate for the D and I said yeah because inflation and interest have been great so far let’s keep it rolling, she didn’t respond.

Yet another stolen seat. I expect the same result for the AZ governor race. If you can't get votes counted by the end of election night, something is wrong....period. Taking days and even weeks to get these results just reeks of fraud. As for mail in votes, a lot of states allow them to be postmarked on election day. That **** needs to end. If your vote isn't already received by the time the polls close on election day, sorry, but it shouldn't count.

Reminds me of all the Republicans who are saying the voting age needs to be raised to 21 or 25 because Gen Z is overwhelmingly voting for Democrats. The GOP has lost an entire generation, so instead of changing their platforms to attract some of Gen Z they want to take away Gen Z's right to vote.

I get it and it’s really moot at this point but you said “he hasn’t lost anything” not the above.
To a guy that said he lost $34 billion. If you want to pick nits then you got me. But if you honestly think Elon lost $34 billion 'on twitter' then we are just going to have to disagree.

The fact that people think Elon is the problem hurts my soul.

Love how she says she resigned because she didn't want to work for Musk. It's much more likely that she was fired or about to be. Also funny when a know-nothing minion tries to call out the owner of the company about things he has the records for right at his fingertips. 🤣 Go back to your cubicle and play mahjong all day, Karen.

This generation amazes me. My teenage daughter told me that one of her friends paid money for followers on his Twitter or Instagram one. My wife said "Why would he pay money for people to follow him?" She said it was to make him look better by having more followers. 🤦‍♀️
"Thanks for the $20, sucker!" *Immediately unfollows*

Wonder how many “suckers” pay for only fans on here? I bet a few 😂😂😂😂
I don’t have only fans because porn is free, but why do you care what people spend money on? Do you wake up and think f**k godd****t someone else signed up for onlyfans! You probably subscribe to things those people
Think are stupid as well.

My response was to someone calling someone paying $20 a sucker. What you or anyone spends their money on doesn’t even register on things I give a damn about.

You sure seem awful bent about Elon buying twitter to claim in the same thread you don't care what others spend their money on 🤔

If she actually cared what you thought, her response would have been something along the lines of "Well, if I happen to get raped and get pregnant, I don't think the Government should force me to have the rapist's child." That would have been a more than adequate explanation of her vote. But apparently she didn't think you were important enough to bother explaining it to you.

That definitely seemed to be a very key issue that drove a lot of blue votes this time around. We don't care if America burns to the ground as long as we're allowed to kill babies.

When that was initially overturned I posted it would be a huge mistake for republicans. Really just needed to STFU and keep letting Democrats mess up but then they decided to trip over themselves and go after Roe vs Wade which like 75% of the country is for. Huge miscalculation that cost them.

More like a person having control over their own body. If one on my sons came home and said they they got a woman pregnant it would kill me if she got an abortion. But it’s not my place to tell her what to do. Hell we would take the baby ourselves if that were an option. Covid shot, hell no it’s my body. Abortion, hell no the government will tell you what to do.

The court should never have been ruling on it to begin with. That didn't cost them as much as not indicting the election officials that failed to turn over all of the data and machines after 2020. Of course, we'd have to have an impartial justice system and executive branch to do that.

I agree. I'm just saying this is only one issue . Many people voted on this alone, rather than looking at the big picture. In the grand scheme of things abortion (or the lack of access to it) is only going to effect a small percentage of people, unlike many other things controlled by the government which effect everyone.

Anyway, am I the only one who thinks it's weird that we need to either make everyone a hero or a villain? Politicians, Musk, Aaron Rodgers, Joe Rogan, etc. Maybe over time Musk does make the platform better, or he sinks the damn thing and everyone just runs to some MySpace second rate form of twitter. There's no questioning the guy's genius, but it's okay to say that he entered ownership irresponsibility with his "gimmie money to be check marked" scheme and seems to just be trolling and trying to dunk on people on his newly purchased platform. Genius, yes, but he's like a nine year old Doogie Hauser with a gallon of Surge flowing through his veins.

He has Asperger's syndrome which has a lot to do with his awkward social interactions, and what bigger platform for social interaction is there than Twitter? He also happens to own that platform and is the richest man on the planet, so everything he does is magnified for the world to see.
