In 2007 the soulful voice of Brad Delp, Boston's original lead singer, was silenced forever. For reasons perhaps only he understood, he took his own life. May his troubled soul Rest in Peace.

Thursday (6/20) was the birthday of the late, great, Frank Phillips. He was know more commonly by his stage name, Billy Guy. He was a founding member of The Coasters. To celebrate, one of their early hits. Billy Guy is the singer in the dark coat and white shirt.

Friday (6/21) was the birthday of Joey Molland. He was a songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist for Badfinger during their heyday. He wasn't part of the group when it was founded, but he's the last living member of the group from their heyday. To celebrate:
