I'm sure they are scared to death of the PC crap that if they sold the guns and someday a gun was used in a crime it would be a field day for the anti-gun crowd. It would be fast-and-furious all over again, except the Honolulu PD would be the bad guys. This should not be an issue. All they have to do is grind away the serial numbers. I'm sure they have guys sitting around in the hoosegow doing nothing. Put them to work and make $$$.
