What? Your wifi sucks apparently. I am surrounded on all sides by homes in a neighborhood, all have wifi networks I can see from my home, and don't have any issues with this. Any high speed ISP should be just fine. I've had two different ISPs, one with only 150Mbps and the other is 1Gbps download speeds and all streaming apps I run on my Roku have been rock solid... Netflix, Youtube TV, Amazon Prime, Peacock, etc.
Great to know. As I said I have a ROKU in the living room and an LG in the bedroom. After reading through I'm thinking about doing ROKU with a Firestick for streaming. Is this a good idea? Dumber than dirt when it comes to this stuff, but we like INSP ME TV UP TV for the old tv westerns like Gun Smoke etc but must be able to get PS and most of if not all college football games. YouTube is a must. Don't care about Golf or anything pro except the Eagles of an occasional Steeler's game. On golf the last time I saw a guy wearing a golf cap I ran him over in the cross walk. ;)

I use the Roku 4k stick plugged into one TV (actually plugged into my 5.1 receiver) and have a cheap Roku TV (Roku is integrated) also. I prefer the 4k stick, but the integrated TV works fine too, it's just a secondary device that doesn't get much use. The Roku TV runs a bit differently, has fewer settings and adjustment options. If you're really concerned with bandwidth get the Roku Ultra and hardwire it to your router, I think that's the only one that has an ethernet port.

For the Naples, FL area that is expanding, I am at the end of the cable line and have complained for years that their service must be better. Unfortunately, Comcast Phila home office will not listen to all complaints. In the end, I will succeed in having better connections. My Nord VPN can connect to many parts of the USA and the World - some places are better than others for connectivity., As I have been in the internet business for almost 30 years, any good local ISP connection with sufficient capabilities is not available 'everywhere'.
You must be somewhere else with better capabilities, so be it. There are some software applications that will cause problems.

Now I have Google Fiber, which isn't available everywhere and has 1Gbps down. But when I had Spectrum, even back when they only offered 50Mbps down at my location, streaming video was not an issue unless I loaded it up with multiple devices streaming at once. But Spectrum shifted to 150Mbps here many years ago too and since then no issues. Wifi speeds have become the bigger limiting factor than the speeds from the ISPs, but everything is fast enough that it's very stable and reliable.

An aspiration of ours was to retire in Cloudcroft NM. Eight to Nine K elevation appeals to us as to the mountains. Have you visited Ruidoso or Cloudcroft?
I was in Ruidoso before the fires last year. Beautiful area. But not since.
Have plant to visit Silver City and Cloudcroft.
People I know love Cloudcroft. Supposed to be a pretty “artsy” town
Edit:
Ruidoso reminded me a lot of CO. Towering Pines and Pine Forests and Mt. views.
