OT - why can’t I see alerts?

Honestly don’t know. I used to get them then all the sudden I’m not. I’m gonna ask a dumb question because everyone probably knows but how do you check those things? To see if they are turned on?

Click on profile and then go to the preferences.

All that is checked. I’m not sure why I’m not getting them. Thank you for your help!!
