Kentucky starter gets hurt and Gavin came in next series. Kentucky ran and ran. Got down to Tennessee 25. Gavin throws a pass directly to Volunteers player who returns it all the way to the 10 yard line. Tennessee immediately scores, up 21-10.

Tennessee wins 28-18. Gavin didn’t have a chance in the fourth quarter. Vol defense was relentless gushing through the Kentucky offensive line.

That was an impressive series for him capped off by the 2 pt conversion. But even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while in the forest. GW needs to show some consistency before I am to change my opinion on him.
His overall body of work isn’t good. But he did play well on that series. He’s just can’t do that for a full game.

Wimsatt didn't have a good game against Tenn , but I hope when he plays again he does better..
Rutgers wasn't the right place for Gavin once AK hit the scene ,going home was a good option for him.
It was a win win situation for the schools involved and the player, even if where he left and went to are not setting the world on fire.
At least now Wimsatt's family won't have to travel far to see him play or be on the bench waiting for an opportunity while his family and friends are sitting in the stands wanting to see him play

I hope he plays well too.
But I can't remember ever seeing a less accurate passer.

You're right. Enough with following him already.
You do you, and others will do what they want.
People followed Sitkowski after he left. Same for Evan Simon and Cole Snyder.
Start and follow another OT thread if you don't like to see how former QBs are doing.
