Sorry this is late.

Fun Fact: A donut with no holes is a Danish.

I watched Clemson struggle to beat Syracuse at the dome last night. The defense is good, but they are pretty bereft on offense. Makes one appreciate what Trevor Lawrence could do.

Oregon held on to beat Cal last night, 24-17.

Indiana is giving MSU a game today. 9-7 Hoosier Daddies in Q2 thus far.

Auburn handling 17 Arkansas so far (I will be in Fayetteville next week to ride gravel!)

LSU used a 21-point Q2 to pull ahead of 20 Florida, 21-6.

Baylor vs. BYU should be a good one this afternoon.

1 Georgia hosts 11 Kentucky this afternoon. Kentucky is pretty good, but the Dogs will bite them.

Keep an eye on Fresno St at Wyoming if you like points.

I am wondering if Army might actually beat the Badgers tonight.

PJ Fleck opening his press conference with a Roman Triumph, and a denunciation of the Gophers’ doubters. Nonstop soliloquy. He seems manic.

I think he is excited.

I don’t believe I’ve ever heard of the Old Brass Spittoon. It’ll be in East Lansing tonight.

For PJ, it’s always got to be about PJ. No matter what.

Good to see Neb go down today, even if it meant Minny won. No way we should have lost to them, and that's on Fitz and the coaches.

The fumble out of bounds in the end zone is the worst rule in sports and also my favorite. What a momentum change.

….and , no change in momentum. It’ll be a tough night in Iowa City tonight (or a huuuuuge celebration).

Iowa going down. Make no mistake… Ohio State is still the class of this conference.

With their loss to PJ and the Flecktones, Nebraska will need to win three of four to get to a bowl:
Home, v. Purdue
Home, v. Ohio State
at Wisconsin
Home, v. Iowa

How deep does love for Frosty run in Lincoln?

They're staying home. Crushing is was their highlight for the season

Iowa's offense is a literal steaming pile of garbage. If their defense isn't scoring, they aren't beating many other teams.

After today, I feel like we can beat anybody left on our schedule if we play at this level. Hopefully we have a lot of good football to look forward to in these final 6 games.

I had to think hard about that call before I understood it. If it had happened against the Cats, I wouldn't have had a clear enough head to figure it out.

Ohio State must be so relieved that Purdue got their traditional annual freakish victory over a top opponent out of the way so early in the season.

Watching the last quarter of Purdue/ Iowa, seeing the score 24/7, my wife looked up and said, “Well, THIS game is going to take forever.”

“I want to run,
I want to hide….”

Is it just me, or is “Where the streets have no name” an odd song choice for Wisconsin to take the field to?

I bet that’s a recycled joke from when they beat #2 OSU in 2018. Still works though.
Purdue has now beaten the #2 team when the Boilers were unranked a nation leading 9 times in their history......

So it’s been recycled 9 times? Wish we could claim the same. That’s a nice notch in Purdon’t’s bedpost.

This Williams guy at OU is pretty darn good. Rattler to NU?

Wisconsin looks unimpressive. The announcers are talking about "trouble preparing for the option", but Army's defense doesn't run the option and Wisc didn't do anything on offense. They've scored fewer points against Army than Connecticut did.

Mertz is pretty bad.
