Puff Johnson,OSU guard, became eligible this week after a Franklin co. Ohio judge issued a temporary restraining order to allow him to play a 6th season of div 1 bb.
His case is based on the fact he suffered a season ending wrist injury after playing 17 games for PSU last year.
The guy has played in 112 games over 5 seasons at UNC and PSU.
Wtf? In bb the rule was that you could not play any games and keep your redshirt...now medical redshirt is a bit easier but playing over half games?
Always makes me mad that drew ott for Iowa FB was rejected for a redshirt year by NCAA.

Tavion Banks Bennet Stirtz and Wetjen need to find a Hawkeye judge in IC to gain another year..or two!
