Their lack of depth. With Mast basically missing 2 games and Frager out as well . Already missing Essegian for the season. As noted, they rely on that 3 ball too much. I actually think Iowa could end up with better conf. record at the end of the day. But we're not all that different than Nebraska. The line between a W or a L is razor thin.

With lack of depth and fatigue catching up at end of year. if you’d tell this husker team will have a fade to end year like Fran’s squad uthoff’s sr year when we were top 5 in early Jan. I wouldn’t argue with you.

What the hell happened in Lincoln???

PU was in control all game, and I finally look back over & its only a 6-pt game with 5:30 left.

The other great thing about PU winning this game - aside from making them not as 'desperate' to win in IC - is that its bringing all those top quadrant teams closer together for Iowa to catch and leap frog as they keep this winning streak going!!

Hawks could absolutely be tied for 3rd - or alone in 4th - if they win the next 3. (@ MD tomorrow night, vs PU, vs NEB)
