Most of Cronin's assistants are bald. He probably insisted on it.
W.O.W.
Illanoy lets the opposing star beat 'em, by letting him go coast to coast.

That was a defensive effort only someone like Fran McCaffery could love.Dude beat the entire Illini team on that one play.
Yes, but only because it improves UCLA's metrics.A UCLA win (gag) would help us a tiny bit?
ILL will always be a Q1 loss.
ah, i guess we now have 2 Big Ten win's vs. teams above us in the standings now too

That half court screen got his primary defender out. Brilliant for UCLA. Bad for Ill for not seeing it or calling it out.
Not too worried about the BTT and who the Hawks could be matched up with - from Friday on.
As I've said before, the top 6-8 teams will obviously be there and compete, but they are iron clad locks. So they mostly will be just looking to just get through their time in the conference tourney without suffering any major injuries that will severely impact their NCAAT journey, that will start a week later.
Actually much more concerned with whoever the first opponent is, as they will be looking to keep winning and trying to sneak into the Big Dance - or even just a lesser tourney - themselves.

I've always felt you have to trap that and make him give the ball up, but Dent is tough to corral
Illinois had one job to not give that prick Mick Cronin more signature wins.
ISU could get hot in the 2nd half and clamp down on defense, but right now this is setting up just like the TCU game. They were cold af right until the end of the 1st half when both teams decided to stop playing legitimate defense.
BYU just camped the lane and dared ISU to shoot. Got a putback and a 3. ISU chose to just play hack a shaq the final minute of the 1st half and send BYU to the FT for no real worthwhile reason every possession.
BYU up 9 at half.
I guess Iowa State really does struggle outside of Hilton. It's no wonder they always choke in the tournament.
Watch dude's feet. All we need to know.So you're saying he has some frequent flyer miles??
Kansas and Houston are loaded with good players....we have a ways to go to get on their level,if ever.
Kansas needs to stop getting home games on "Big Monday".
