I really want another shot at Purdue - in the BTT (hopefully semis or final).
If the Hawks actually show up at tip and get after it defensively, this Boilermaker squad is beatable.

Mich vs illini...
Morenz Johnson, Michigan forward who played for illini last year was greeted with booing from illini student section.
Frenzied atmosphere for big regular season clash between top 2 teams in BIG.
Wolves up 6-5 early.
Rooting for mich so they regain #1 spot for Iowa game next week.

Maybe Michigan will decide to just coast on Thursday night in Iowa City if they lock up the regular season crown here against ILL - the Wolverines also have a big rivalry matchup against the Spartans next weekend.
One can hope for such a thing.

Are we supposed to be impressed by Michigan?
Dusty does a little bit of scouting, contacts agents, tells donors he needs x amount, and there you have it.
This whole thing is rotten to the core.

"Don't hate the player, hate the game".
I am envious of teams who have or can get the money to load their rosters like the Michigan's, Illinois', Duke's, Arizona's, UConn's, Houston's, etc, of the CBB world.
Just like money 'buys' CFB championships now, its the same thing on the hardwood.
Clash of the Spanish titans next Thursday nite:
Mara vs Alvaro....
Alvaro better eat his wheaties!

Talk about dragging things out.
13 games ..... but over a full week's time.
2 per day, save for the championship game.
Like, why even invite the last 4 teams in the league if they have to win 7 games in 7 days to steal a bid??
That UCLA result just makes the Iowa loss hurt even more.
would have been fighting with them to get better than the 8-seed in the BTT.
“Hilton Magic” on full display. The calls ISU gets or the fouls not called against them are pretty amazing.
I mean, it certainly isn't a bad result for Iowa, but not sure how good it really is in the end.
Would have been much better if Hawks had not shid the bed in HV.
Yes, obviously I would prefer the Hawks to be undefeated. Pretty sure we all do.
