Upset at 125 lost it for us. Really fun dual. Think OSU wins the next one.

Duals like that are great for college wrestling.
It’s very early. Nebraska did not do well at the beginning of last season. I knew we would take some lumps early this season. I figured it would have been the true freshmen, but (what I believe), it’s undue pressure the new transfers are putting on themselves. Hope they can relax. I do have faith in DT and crew.

Glad CC realized it’s better to be a full feed smaller HWT than to kill himself trying to be a 197. I think he’ll be more dangerous than some expected.

On the other hand, not sure I’ve been super impressed with Ghirardelli’s results up to this point.
Was thinking that last night, I know some wanted him out of the portal but he hasn’t been great.

OU got a really nice win over #13 Rutgers in a great dual, 19-14. Came down to SV at HWT with the dual on the line and Mora got the takedown on Catka. Other notable wins were Schubert beat Pinto, Soldano beat Cartagena-Walsh, and Parker majored Cotton. Schubert and Parker are looking really good this year

Duke ain’t too shabby either.
Cardenas had a tight match with him. If I was wrestling duke I would try to not get taken down the first two periods Then get him in the third. He does not have a lot of weakness but I have seen if someone can take him to the third his strength and reactions begins to weaken. Cardenas’s had this game plan and had a chance at the end to tie but Pj got out of it. It’s going to take a smart discipline, Wrestler to beat Pj.

I was wondering the same thing. The UFC guys coming in I’m sure is helping some.
But they are probably not super expensive to put on. I can’t imagine these guys are getting paid that much to compete
