I’ll never understand why anyone replies to these posts. They only exist because posters validate it by responding. It absolutely makes no difference how you respond. They’ll continue to exist and post as long as someone hits the reply button.
I get what you are saying, but I actually enjoy engaging and often trolling those PSU posters. Sort of like "how to deal with a bully". You obviously prescribe to the "ignore them and they will go away" philosophy. I, on the other hand, was always a "punch them harder" type guy. If they want to come on here and be douchey, I will do my best to annoy them as much as possible...
They don't count. They are the weak that have already been culled...
The only people who think that don't know how message boards work. Which is funny because they have been mainstream for +/- 30 years.

Actually, no. It is perfectly acceptable to post a reply without quoting, as long as the post is directly after...
When posting directly after someone else on a message board, it is generally acceptable to not quote directly unless you are quoting a specific part of their message. If you are responding to a specific part of their message, you should quote it. However, if you are simply replying to the main point or idea of their post, you do not need to quote it. Oh, and I am not remotely always a contrarian, you just don't often get a back and forth going when you like or love someone's post or put something like ^this 1000%. Arguments go back and forth for as long as people engage. Agreements end as soon as you agree. For someone that acts like he knows so much, you would think you would be aware of that, and you probably are.
But, I can already tell I am probably your biggest natural contrarian here, since I admittedly have issues with soft people...

If you do not fall into these categories, I genuinely apologize if my postings annoy you. I can't control the fallout, but when I get called out in a thread I hadn't even been a part of, the gloves come off!

That's why this board will always be the best. It's got a diversity to it. Both good and bad.

What has happened to me in the past is that I did a reply after another post, but before I could reply a couple other people posted. Then there was confusion.
Now, I almost always do what I'm doing here, that is, quoting the post I'm replying to.
LOL that's a different style of forum than this one. Of course you don't need to include an original message on a fully threaded forum like that.

I don't have a true dog in this fight, even if I am a PSU fan. I spent years reading the Ok state board, this board and the PSU one for information and because no one I know in my real life gives a flying fk about wrestling. One thing I learned in all that time : Oklahoma State,Iowa, and Penn State all have fans who take message boards much too seriously. If ever you catch yourself feeling an urge to get into a continuing argument with someone you have never met you should back off for a while. If posting on a message boards brings a side of you out where you feel the need to curse and hurl derogatory statements...you should step back. If you catch yourself banned multiple times from a board, you should just avoid that board. It very clearly isn't good for you. I person like that you post over on the PSU board and have interacted with you before on it. I'm rarely serious when going back and forth on the boards with people I'm having fun with it. And many who I go back and forth with I actually know who they're. Tom ban me before without sending me a message just ban me because he's an egomaniac. I'm a wrestling guy and have been for over 30 years and I have been posting on message boards forever. I have never been ban on any board until 2 years ago. The new Oklahoma st guys gave me a few days last year they didn't know me. Now they do and we have good back and forths and they now know it's not always serious. Many penn St fans come here and post because they know that the mods allow banter why because they have no ego and realize it's forum. The traffic on Penn St boards isn't what it was because of the mod. I know many penn St fans who have reached out and said we barely go there anymore because of the mod.
That's the issue with the new ON3 when 1 board bans you it bans your email from all the boards. That's why im now Corby2 . So you can use a different email and make a new name. The old boards just banned you from that board. So now the mods have way to much power with ON3.
