Yes, one of my daughters works as a server at a restaurant downtown GVL on weekends. She enjoys when the tournament is in town. It works for the city and the visitors I think.

The city has done a fantastic job over the last 25 years of "cleaning up" the downtown area and developing the West End area (near the baseball field). I worked there around '96-'97 and I didn't want to be in downtown after dark. It was filled with teenagers with bad intentions. It's now a really nice place.
