A close game against A@M, but did anyone else notice that Rylee Boone did not touch home plate on the triple by Coleman. Coleman was called out at 3rd, Boones score should not have counted. Had lots of hits against their pitchers and just couldn't get across the plate. Hopefully, that changes today as we get them again.

Not sure how much it was a factor, but since it was the worst loss in NCAA history, A&M fired their coach of almost 30 years, a day later. I never thought she was much of a coach, but everybody talked about what a nice person she was.

I've seen a list of candidates for the new A&M Softball job and ,,,,Patty's on it. I think it was more of a "wish" list.

Jordy Bahl is practicing for the Super Reginal, it looks like OUr ace is back.
I think they're taking it slow. She has thrown a little in the bullpen. She's not close to ready to pitch in the Supers yet. I suspect they're going to try to get through this weekend, and she can maybe pitch at some point in the WCWS if all goes well. But Patty said she wants to be where she was, and they're just not going to do it that way. The possibility may be useful, but they want to protect her health. Bahl wants to pitch now. The doctors and trainers seem to be saying not yet. Patty is definitely saying not yet.

And unless UF can pull off the upset again (they won 7-2 today to force game 3 @ Va. Tech), there will be exactly zero teams from the SEC in OKC.

Yeah, VaTech had a little bit of a tough break. But I cannot understand why teams that win their first game and have a stud pitcher, don't rest her until the start of game 3. Northwestern was even worse. But somehow, they're still hanging around in Tempe. We may very well be playing Texas in the 2nd round.
