Our zone D coverage concerns me. Martinez looking like Montana out there. Broiles lucky his receiver stepped out of bounds or he was gone for 6.

Ugh...I get the point of zone defenses, but I hate them across all sports.

It's blatant admission, "our athletes aren't good enough to match yours, so we've gotta get clever."

Well you're right and that's what concerns me. I thought we had athletes now? Concerning

We're always going to struggle to squeeze into the top 5 until we get back to developing elite DEs.

Our DEs are consistently non-factors unless they slip into holes out of trickery like that...... then miss the easy tackle.

What's the story with Brooks? He looked better than Gray last week and already looking better today.

Are there still health concerns preventing him from starting? Punishment for sitting a COVID-19 year?

Just seems weird to me that a transfer is preferred over a homegrown and proven elite back.

And a nice whiff by Brooks. I'll give Stoops one thing if a player whiffed like Brooks did he'd get on their butt and have them take a series or 2 off.

Pat Fields playing zone with no sense awareness. He gave the dang receiver a 10 yard cushion and made no attempt to close on the receiver when the ball was in the air.

Riley can't seem to fire this team up for any game. I don't get it and I am getting to the point where I don't care.

This isn't a good team we're struggling with.

This team is not, so far, Riley’s best team and whatever it is, it’s not a championship team.
Nebraska may not be that relevant anymore, but It’s playing vintage NU defense so far.
Evidently, the players disrespect this Nebraska team as much as the fans. It could prove costly.

We have the most ballyhooed receiver corp in the nation... maybe by far.

The fact that all of these high-4 star and 5-star receivers can't run routes to get open is a real hit against our coaching and play calling.... OR, Rattler is just a physical freak of an athlete without the ability to see the field quickly and anticipate the open route.

I'm watching on TV, so the receivers commonly outrun the camera view, so I have no idea which is which.

Jalen Hurts' huge initial success in the NFL is leaning me one direction though.

This is the worst OU team I have seen in a while. Not a top ten team and maybe not top 20.

Not top 10, for sure. Not top 20? You've proven your OU allegiance with that stretch! Haha. I love it.

We do have insane expectations.... We pump plenty of money into the team though, so it's not an unreasonable expectation on our part.

Hopefully they can prove me wrong.

Bonito is balling. The OLine aren't world beaters, but they are doing decent.

I'm looking for anything to be positive about and switch my tone. 😆

Eric tries TOO HARD to be patient and wait for holes for his size. I get that's the common complaint on backs, so he's trying to not fall into that trap, but he's way too small to sit back and think he's going to break that first tackle attempt in the backfield.

With a noticable lack of physical tools, you'd assume that Drake kid comes from football coaching stalk the way he plays.

Rattler completes passes that alot of other qb's can't. Those 2 he threw to Stoops had to be in specific spots. The pass int. against Haselwood was bs.
